80 Day Obsession - It’s Getting Real

Okay, it’s getting real! 80 Day Obsession kicks off tomorrow. I have my alarms set on my phone for when to get up, when to workout and when to eat. The family is on board. My before-pictures have been taken, and the grocery shopping is done. I've prepped some proteins for the week in my trusty Instant Pot. Shredded Mexican beef I also did a Fit Test my coach came up with. It took me almost an hour to get through all the different exercises. I'm excited to see where I'll be in 80+ days in terms of my strength, fitness and flexibility. Hopefully better than today on all aspects 😋 And of course it's Sunday, so it was time for some relaxation as well. Hug or choke?! And a last cocktail! I'll be reporting on the Day 1 workout tomorrow. 80 Day Obsession, here we go. Here's to hoping Autumn Calabrese (the trainer) won't kill me.

Meal Planning for 80 Day Obsession

Today was another day of reviewing the meal plan for 80 Day Obsession and scheduling out my meals for next week when the program really kicks off. This meal plan is very specific on what to eat and when to eat, while at the same time making it quite simple through the use of the 21 Day Fix boxes. The boxes are color coded and tell you how much to eat of each macronutrient - carbs, proteins, greens, etc. They look something like this: Easy enough, right? It was also time for another prep workout, which was the cardio workout from A Little Obsessed. Today was extra fun, because it's Saturday and I didn't have to do my workout at 5:30 in the morning! Plus, I had a handsome workout buddy. This kid pushes me for sure! Tomorrow the actual meal prep begins. The Instant Pot awaits!

Monday is the day!

Here we go! Monday kicks of 80 Day Obsession, the newest workout program I want to complete. My before pics have been taken (not sharing yet!), the sliders, loops and dumbbells are ready, the workout space in the basement awaits and the supplements are stocked. It's been a while since I've followed a whole at-home program from beginning to end, following the meal plan to a T, so I expect this to be a challenge. I'm part of an awesome challenge group that will push me and hold me accountable. I also plan to use this blog to keep me on track, and to share my trials and tribulations. I hope you follow along and check back in! Now - wish me luck 😀 I've been getting ready with the A Little Obsessed workouts. Darn those loops!
